i recently went for a hike with my loving fiance and daughter and my sister and her friend and son in a forest close to home. the weather turned out perfect for the hike. i would love to go again this year but its just getting too cold. so it will have to wait till the spring... maybe the summer. the spring is just too muddy...
this past weekend my oldest brother, Jason, got married to a wonderful girl named, Crystal. i just want to welcome Crystal to the family and i couldn't have asked for a better person for Jason to spend the rest of his life with. you two are so perfect for one another that its sickening (in a good way :D). i love you both.
not everything went as planned though. like crystal sending us bridesmaids down into the church when the priest, groom and groomsmen weren't even ready for us; or when jamie's cell phone going off right in the middle of the ceremony (even though you two were thankful that it did go off cause it took some of the tension and stress off you two). but it turned out to be a gorgeous day out.
i cant wait to see the pictures, there going to be fantasic because Gerri is an amazing photographer.
i fell like i've kinda gotten off track hrough the years and lost myself a little bit. i've done a lot of thinking lately and i've decided that i'm going to do something about it because i deserve it to myself to be happy and do what i love to go.
i'm going to paint! i love to paint but lately i haven't found the time to do much of it. i'm getting a new apartment in November and i'm going to paint a new masterpiece of mine for it.
i'm going to take pictures of the beauty that is all around me because one day its probably not going to be there for me to enjoy it.
i'm going to get back in touch with some really great people from high school because i made some amazing friends that impacted my life and helped me along the way in this day to day adventure that i'm living. we should have never lost touch but with all of us oging off to school and starting a new chapter in our lives, we just got caught up in it all. but im going to change that because i really miss them.
i'm going to run again. i love to run while listening to mucis. i found it refreshing and relaxing and healthy. it helps me clear my mind and get my thoughts in order again. but with the winter months upon us it might be a little difficult...
i'm going to continue to read. i've been on a reading binge lately. inever use to read but i think that is because i never figured out what i liked to read, so i never. but now that i've found my genre of books that i love to read, i haven't been able to stop!
i'm going to enjoy nature once again. i'm going to hike and camp and just get out there. i'll just bundle up for the weather and find a forest.
i've come to the conclusion that life doesn't always turn out the way you planned it to. you just have to make the best of it and be happy while doing it!
But before the storm rolled through, it was a perfect day to take the kids outside and play. So that is just what we did. We took the kids into the backyard and put the sprinkler on!
A huge storm went through that left a path of destruction afterwards about an hour from where I live. An 11 year old boy even lost his life because of the storm that rolled through. This type of weather is very uncommon in the area where i live either. there were terenchal rains, really high winds, and even tornado.
[note: I did not take the 7 pictures above. You can view them here.]
i'm not looking for at getting a house right no, im just interested in the process and what my options are cause i'm so sick of thrwing my money away. i just want to put my money into something that i know, in the end, im going to get back in the long run. not to mention, i go insane in an apartment. its just way to small for me when i'm use to living in a house. im sick of living in a shoe box [thats what is feels like to me].
so i talked to someone that i thought migt give me a directions to look at bt after it was all said and done, that person turned around and told me, "it would not happen". this person was not a professional or anything, just a family friend and its not the first time this person has told me that "it wouldn't happen", but with differsnt situations.
im so sick of people telling me that i cant do something because im the type of person that will take that as a challenge and i usually succeed. im also that type of person that believes if you put enouge afford into something you can accomplish anything you really desire.
i really hate all those people that go around telling everyone else that they cant have what they want, especially when its not their money that will be paying for it.
so, im going to show that person by buying a house because they dont run mu life and its my money. i worked hard for it and can do what i please with it.
I have to to be the worst blogger in the world. Its been forever since I blogged last. Sorry about it. I'll try and keep up on it.
Well I got a job! Finally, I know. Its taken forever for me to get started though cause the training is done online and the website doesn't work at my place :( I've also been take some more pictures lately too! They look amazing (to me at least). Here they are:
I'll be posting more pictures at a later date that I took on Canada Day! I had a blast yesturday. I went down to the parade with Avalon, Shane, and my parents. Then we went to watch the fireworks last night. Avalon liked them but she jumped at every BANG! It was pretty cute.
What really gets me, is how many people actually come out of the woodwork to watch the fireworks that the town puts on for us to enjoy! I'm please that people come out to watch them cause they are amazing! Thanks Port Hope Town Council for putting all that together for us!
I'm so excited to announce that I finally got my website up and running. I love it! Eventually I want to start my own photography business, but right at the moment I don't have the resources to start that dream. One day though, one day. But in the mean time, check out my site. I hope you love it too!
I also have been designing some work for my friend, Ann's Esthetics business. She is amazing at what she does. So if you need a facial, some hair removed from those embarrassing, want a massage or need a mani/pedi combo, she's your girl.
I would also like to take a minute and let everyone know that "Fists Under Skin" ( a local band in my town) has there website up and running too. If you have time, take a minute and check it out.
I'm Janice, and I'm just getting started with my blog. I'm also in the middle of getting my website up and running too. So be patient. It will be done soon. But thanks for coming and checking out my blog!
